Brian is currently a cover and centerfold artist and writer for the magazines Fangoria, Gorezone and Delirium. His covers and centerfolds have included such pop icons as KISS’ Gene Simmons, former KISS guitarist, Ace Frehley and Elvira, Mistress Of The Dark, to name a few. Debuting in Full Moon’s Delirium Magazine #5, Brian’s new column, Strange Love, covers the strange notions of love and sexuality in exploitation cinema. His work has been seen in such magazines as Playboy, Heavy Metal, Pro Wrestling Illustrated, on television’s LIVE! with Regis and Kelly, and in numerous comics and video games.

Recently, Brian’s licensed horror film poster series was promoted by Fangoria and exclusive versions of select prints were released in a joint effort between Brian and Fango. The series included cult favorites Re-Animator, Psychomania and others.

Brian and his closest friend, musician and fellow artist Eerie Von (Samhain, Danzig) have collaborated on a new series of traditional canvas paintings, soon to be released as a print series.

He has also dipped his toes into acting recently, filming with genre favorites Butch Patrick and John Dugan, for director James Balsamo’s feature film Bite School, as well as a part in another upcoming Balsamo film, Killer Waves, currently in production.

Although currently on hiatus, he hosts his own live radio show, “A Bunch of B.S. with Brian Steward”. Every week Brian welcomes guests from the fields of film, music and art. He lives in Texas with his wife of 20 years and their two sons.
