Biographical Info

I’m J.R. Mounts, an indie comics creator/artist with my own line of parody comics and characters for Scairy Tales Noir comics, LLC (spell scary with an “i“). To note, I do spell scary with an “i” for the “not-so-scary-fairy-tales” to make clear I’m doing parody comics rather than horror.

I’m an independent comics guy that lives in Atlanta, Georgia and creates, writes, draws and publishes my own parody comic titles, “Fried Pickle Noir” graphic novel series and “Scairy Tales: the not so scary fairy tales” family comic strip, among others.

I’ve been appearing at conventions throughout Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland, Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee such as Heroes Con, Dragon Con, Baltimore Comic Con, NC Comicon, Indiana Comic Con, MAGFest,  MTAC, Animazement, Gen Con,etc… and will also be appearing at Wonder Con 2016 and many more.

If you’d like to see some of my work, I have a website https://www.scairytalesnoir.com where you can view all the comics I write and draw that will be at my table.

Website: Felix Silla

Biographical Info

Felix Silla was born in a small village outside Rome, Italy. Silla trained as a circus performer, came to the United States in 1955, and toured with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. His multiple talents as a bareback rider, trapeze artist and tumbler brought him to Hollywood, where he became a stuntman, starting with the Gig Young-Shirley Jones vehicle, A Ticklish Affair. His best-known roles are Litvak, the maniacal, miniature Hitler who menaces George Segal in The Black Bird (his favorite role), and Cousin Itt on the TV show, The Addams Family. He was also responsible for the physical performance of the robot Twiki in the TV series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.

His most famous role was television’s “Cousin Itt” of The Addams Family. The character was not part of Charles Addams original comic, but was introduced in the television series by Addams Family producer David Levy. Although the character of Cousin Itt did not debut on The Addams Family until almost a third of the way through the entire series, Silla’s performance of the character made him so popular that Cousin Itt was carried over into various media including both the animated series and the motion picture versions of The Addams Family. He provided the voice of Mortimer Goth from The Sims 2, the best-selling video game of 2005. He also played an Ewok in the film Return of the Jedi.
