Little Rock Picture Show to Have World Premiere of Film Diverge

The Little Rock Picture Show, now a part of the River City Comic Expo, is set to have the world premiere of the sci-fi feature length film Diverge from Little Rock native James Morrison. The film, shot in New York, takes place when a deadly virus wipes out humanity, a survivor is given the chance to travel across time to stop the cataclysmic event and regain everything he has lost.  To do that he must kill the man responsible for sowing the seeds mankind’s destruction – his past self. Last year the film was the winner at  the Paris 2015 USInProgress festival.

The director James Morrison will be in attendance for the film which will be screened twice at the Statehouse Convention Center, once at 6:30 on Saturday June 11th and again at 2:30 Sunday June 12th. Both screenings will be followed by a Q&A.
